Delete your Mobdeen account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Mobdeen and sign in as a supervisor (parent).
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm.

To remove one child only, choose "Delete creator" in that child's settings. Children cannot delete their own accounts; the parent manages their data.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, so cancel there before deleting:

• Google Play: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

What gets deleted

• Your account data: name, email, phone number, date of birth, picture and PIN.
• If you are the family owner or the last supervisor: the whole family, including all children's accounts, their activities, points and rewards, their photos, videos and voice recordings, and the family chat.
• If other supervisors remain: your data and media are deleted, the family continues, and your past messages show as from a "deleted member".
• Your conversations with Awnak (the AI assistant).

When

Your account is closed at once and your personal data is no longer used. Everything is permanently deleted within 30 days, and backups are overwritten within 35 days.

What we keep

• Aggregated usage analytics without your name or email (event-level data up to 14 months).
• Billing and consent records the law requires us to keep, for up to 5 years.
• A short deletion record (account ID and date) without your name or email, for up to 90 days.
• OpenAI may keep AI assistant questions for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes them.
